DBPR Public Food Service Establishment license (permanent food service)

Annual license by seating: nonseating $242; 1-49 seats $262; 50-149 $273; 150-249 $294; 250-349 $315; 350-499 $336; 500+ $357. Plus one-time $50 application fee (new/change of ownership). $10 Hospitality Education Program fee included.

State-issued, not county. Half-year rates apply after Dec 1. Locally also need Miami-Dade Certificate of Use (one-time $75) and Local Business Tax Receipt; municipal receipt also required if inside a city.

DBPR Mobile Food Dispensing Vehicle (MFDV) license

$347 full-year / $178.50 half-year, plus $50 application fee (mobile food vehicles/hot dog carts category)

License tied to a specific vehicle (second truck = second license). License year June 1-May 31. Fire Department approval required (786-331-4800) before Miami-Dade license issuance.

Businesses inside a municipality must hold BOTH a Miami-Dade County and a city Local Business Tax Receipt; Fire Department approval required before license issuance.
