Pick length by station width and tier by how many well bottles you keep:

Speed rails hold open bottles at the station; keep them clean and drained (spills collect in the rail), and mount them so pour spouts stay covered and sanitary between services.

Roughly one 1-liter bottle per ~3″ of rail — a 22″ single holds ~7, a double tier roughly twice that. Size it to your well plus a little room.
At the pour station within easy reach — bolted to the bar die or clipped to the underbar — positioned so it drains and doesn't block the ice bin.
