Who Really Makes It: Rebadged Equipment & OEM Twins
A lot of commercial kitchen equipment is rebadged — the same physical unit is built by one manufacturer (the OEM) and sold under several brand names, often at very different prices. Knowing the OEM lets you find the identical twin — and frequently a lower price — for the exact same machine. This is different from who owns whom (corporate ownership): a rebadge means the same product, not just the same parent company.
